2011 Walk to cure diabetes

Here are some pictures of the Cimini Family kicking diabetes' ass last Sunday.  The weather turned out to be really nice and everyone had a great time.  Geoff Fox was in attendance again to host the event. 

Aidan Starts Kindergarden

The start of the school year was delayed by a week due to Hurricane Irene.  Many people in Connecticut were without power for days and some had to wait over a week for power to be restored.  Aidan is enjoying school and has made some new friends.  He's adjusted pretty well to the full day format and has started being more independent as well.  We are all very proud of him and always can't wait to hear about his day.

Happy Easter

Here's the Easter Video of Aidan saying an Easter prayer.  It was very cute.  The annual Easter egg hunt was a huge success too!  The rain held off just long enough.

New Feature added to the site!

As a lot of you know, I like to take home movies of my family with my Flip camera.  Until recently I've just had these videos saved on my computer.  I've decided to upload many of them to Youtube.com so that I can share these movies with the rest of my family and friends.  On the top right hand side of the website you will now see a video bar with 3 or 4 previews of different movies I've recently uploaded.  Feel free to check them out and "thumbs up" them or make comments on them.  I've embedded the most popular video that has circulated the globe recently.  Enjoy!

Memorial Day Weekend Trip

The weather has been warmer than average this spring so far so we took advantage of the warmth and took a trip to the White Mountains of New Hampshire.  We normally go in June but with temps in the 80's and all of the attractions opening up Memorial Day weekend it was a no brainer.  We were able to get a reservation at our favorite hotel and away we went.  We visited Storyland and Clarks Trading Post this time.

Storyland was exciting and Aidan couldn't wait to ride the rollercoaster and flume log ride.  Daddy really enjoyed the log ride (as evident by the picture)  Anabelle did a great job of being cute and getting the attention of many people walking by.

Clarks was great as usual and this year we got a front row seat to the show and we got to see the bears up close!  The wolfman was scary as usual and I'm really beginning to like this new wolfman.  He really plays up the role really well and we look forward to that train ride through the woods every year!


Aidan enjoyed swimming in the pool and really liked the hot tub.  Daddy liked the hot tub too as it really relaxed all the muscles from an active weekend.

Aidan and Anabelle Update

It's been a very cold and snowy winter this year. I can't wait for it to warm up so I can take Aidan and Anabelle to some local parks. The house is so dry I've even purchased some humidifiers to help with all the dryness. The forecast now says another storm is coming in 2 days!

Anabelle was baptized in mid January at St. Therese Church in North Haven. A big thank you to Matt Cimini and Cindy Petrillo for accepting the role of godparents to our daughter. The ceremony was beautiful and we were very fortunate to be the only baptism that day! Anabelle has blue eyes and red hair at the moment and I anticipate the eye color to stay blue while the hair will probably turn darker as she gets older.

Aidan has adjusted nicely to being a big brother to Anabelle. He loves to give Anabelle kisses and talk to her. Anabelle smiles at him and he really loves that! Aidan is having fun going to school 3 days a week and is learning quite a bit. He now can recite the pledge of allegiance!!

We've been very busy lately adjusting to life with multiple children. It's a wonderful thing and I feel very blessed to have such a beautiful family.

Thanks to everyone for patiently waiting for me to update this site. My intentions were to update this weekly but it hasn't really turned out that way.
